# Approval workflow

> A defined step in which managers or clients approve or reject images before publishing.

Also known as: approval process, client approval. Category: E-commerce and workflow.

An approval workflow is a defined review step in which internal managers or external clients approve or reject images, with comments, before they are published or delivered. It prevents unchecked images from reaching shops and documents who approved what.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

PhotoRobot Controls has an integrated approval process for internal and external reviewers. Clients can be given their own login and see items once they are set to Verified, then approve or reject them or attach feedback for further retouching.
