# AutoCrop

> Automatic cropping based on the detected product position, with set aspect ratio and padding.

Also known as: auto crop, automatic cropping. Category: Software.

AutoCrop crops each image automatically around the detected product. Combined with a fixed aspect ratio and padding, it gives every image of a catalogue the same framing and margins.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

In PhotoRobot Controls, AutoCrop uses intelligent detection of the product position and is typically saved in a preset together with aspect ratio and padding. The editor's crop can also resize the output to a target pixel size for channel-ready delivery.
