# Automatic publishing

> Making finished images available online immediately after capture and processing, without manual upload.

Also known as: automated publishing, instant publishing. Category: E-commerce and workflow.

Automatic publishing makes finished product images available on the web or in connected systems as soon as they are captured and processed, without anyone copying or uploading files. It shortens the time to market and removes a manual step where files can be mixed up.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

When the cloud version of PhotoRobot Controls is used for capture, images are ready for hosting immediately with no file transfer, and dynamic XML or JSON feeds deliver them to target sites. PhotoRobot notes this lets the first batch of a large order go online while the rest is still in progress.
