# Buttons layout

> A PhotoRobot Viewer layout with clickable icons for the item's folders.

Category: Software.

A buttons layout shows clickable icons below the viewer, one for each content folder (spin, stills, hero shots). Each icon opens one viewing mode.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

It is one of the two basic [PhotoRobot Viewer](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/photorobot-viewer) layouts, best for items with two to five viewing modes; the other is the [thumbnails layout](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/thumbnails-layout). Layouts are configured in PhotoRobot Cloud and explained in the [viewer layouts manual](https://www.photorobot.com/manuals/photorobot-viewer-layouts-and-configurations).
