# PhotoRobot Cloud API

> PhotoRobot's REST API for integrating the studio with catalogue, DAM, PIM and e-commerce systems.

Also known as: Cloud API, Cloud API V2, API V2. Category: Software.

The PhotoRobot Cloud API is the programming interface of PhotoRobot Cloud. It lets other systems create product items, automate capture workflows and deliver processed images through scalable hosting and feeds.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

Cloud API V2 introduced unified responses, standardised payloads and defined error codes under /api/v2/; existing authentication keys continue to work. PhotoRobot announced that V1 is deprecated and would be shut down on 30 September 2026. Documentation is on the PhotoRobot Developer Portal (developer.photorobot.com). A separate Control Unit API controls only robot movements and is available on request; PhotoRobot recommends the Cloud API for controlling the whole studio.
