# Ghost mannequin > A mannequin with removable parts, used to photograph garments so the mannequin can be made invisible in the image. Also known as: invisible mannequin, invisible ghost mannequin. Category: Hardware. A ghost mannequin is a photography mannequin whose neck, arms, shoulders or torso sections can be removed. Garments keep a natural, body-shaped fit, and the visible mannequin parts are removed or replaced in post-production so the clothing appears to be worn by an invisible model. ## How PhotoRobot uses it PhotoRobot sells its own ghost mannequins for men, women and children in full-body, 3/4 torso, half-body torso and leg forms.
