# Hotspot > A clickable point on a product image or spin that opens a detail image, zoom or annotation. Also known as: hot spot, hotspot zoom. Category: 360, 3D and output formats. A hotspot is a clickable marker on a product image or 360 spin that opens additional content, such as a close-up photo, a zoomed detail or a text annotation about a feature. Hotspots let a viewer explain specific features without leaving the spin or gallery. ## How PhotoRobot uses it In the PhotoRobot Viewer, hotspots are configured per spin with a position, visibility range, size, opacity, pulse, colour and title, and can open photos from a separate stills folder.
