# Item export

> PhotoRobot Controls function that exports items to local disk or cloud in chosen formats, sizes and file names.

Also known as: bulk image export. Category: Software.

Item export in PhotoRobot Controls writes the images of selected items to a local disk or to PhotoRobot Cloud in a defined structure. Each export defines outputs (spin, stills, images for retouch), file format, size, quality and a filename template.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

Supported formats are JPG, PNG, WebP and TIFF; PhotoRobot recommends WebP and JPG. Exports can embed author, copyright, title, description and keywords as image metadata, add an HTML preview, a data.json configuration for SpinViewer, thumbnails and extracted OCR data, and set the item status to Exported.
