# Item status

> The production state of an item in PhotoRobot Controls, such as Received, Captured, Edited or Published.

Also known as: item statuses, workflow status. Category: E-commerce and workflow.

An item status records where a product is in the production process, for example received, captured, edited, approved or published. Statuses let teams filter their work and let other systems react to progress.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

PhotoRobot Controls offers statuses including New, Received, Ready, Captured, Recapture, Edit, Approved, Published, Archived and Attention, plus capture statuses such as Fix Editing and Verified. Automatic workflow statuses can be configured to advance after capture, edit, cloud edit and Touch, and changes can trigger webhooks.
