# Multi-row 360

> A 360 spin captured at several camera elevations, so the viewer can rotate the product horizontally and vertically.

Also known as: multi-row spin, 3D spin, multi-row 360 spin. Category: 360, 3D and output formats.

A multi-row 360 is a spin captured in several rows at different camera elevations. In the viewer the product can be turned horizontally and tilted vertically, which is why it is often called a 3D spin, although it is still made of photographs rather than a 3D model.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

PhotoRobot captures multi-row spins with the [Robotic Arm](https://www.photorobot.com/robots/robotic-arm), which moves the camera between rows, or with the [MultiCam](https://www.photorobot.com/robots/multicam), which captures all rows in one rotation with several cameras. In PhotoRobot Controls, rows are added to a spin folder at different swing angles.
