# PhotoRobot Touch > PhotoRobot's iPhone app for handheld product photos, detail shots and simple 360 spins inside the PhotoRobot workflow. Also known as: Touch app, Touch App. Category: Software. PhotoRobot Touch is an iOS application that turns an iPhone into a camera within the PhotoRobot workflow. It captures handheld still images and detail shots, or simple 360 spins by tethered shooting, and uploads them to the cloud for automatic post-processing and publishing. ## How PhotoRobot uses it Touch has three modes: Free mode for unrestricted handheld shooting, Wizard mode with template-based steps and sample images, and Spin mode, which triggers capture via a wire shutter and special adaptor in sync with a PhotoRobot. It reads QR codes and barcodes to open items, names files automatically and can run alongside any PhotoRobot workstation. ## See on photorobot.com - [PhotoRobot Touch](https://www.photorobot.com/photorobot-touch) - [Touch iPhone app user manual](https://www.photorobot.com/manuals/photorobot-touch-iphone-app-user-manual) ## Related terms - [Wizard mode](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/wizard-mode): PhotoRobot Controls mode that guides an operator through predefined capture steps one at a time. - [Detail shot](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/detail-shot): A close-up photo of one feature of a product, such as a texture, logo or mechanism. - [Tethered shooting](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/tethered-shooting): Shooting with the camera connected to a computer, which controls settings and receives every image directly. - [PhotoRobot Controls](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/photorobot-controls): PhotoRobot's software suite for capture, editing, digital asset management, studio workflow and publishing. - [Barcode](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/barcode): A machine-readable code on a product or label, scanned to identify items without typing. ## Where this term appears on photorobot.com Mentioned on 19 pages.
