# Still image

> A single photograph of a product, as opposed to a spin, video or 3D model.

Also known as: still images, stills, image gallery. Category: 360, 3D and output formats.

A still image is a single photograph of a product. Product pages usually show a gallery of stills: a hero image, further angles, details and packaging.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

In PhotoRobot Controls, still images are kept in a Stills folder of the item, separate from the Spin and Video folders. Stills can be captured as separate frames or copied from spin frames by a macro, so the same angle is not photographed twice.
