# Style guide

> A document that defines how products of a brand are to be photographed and presented.

Also known as: photography style guide. Category: E-commerce and workflow.

A photography style guide defines how a brand's products are photographed: angles, framing, background, lighting, styling, number of images and file specifications. It keeps results consistent across photographers, studios and seasons.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

In PhotoRobot workflows, items are sorted to shelves by style guide, and the guide's angles and settings are implemented as presets. PhotoRobot's tutorial explains how to create a fashion photography style guide.
