# Turning Platform

> PhotoRobot heavy-duty turntable for furniture and machinery, with plates up to 280 cm and a 1500 kg load capacity.

Also known as: Turning Platform HT, Turning Platform HT / RotoPower. Category: Hardware.

The Turning Platform is a PhotoRobot heavy-duty motorised turntable for large or heavy products such as furniture, garden machinery and quad bikes. It rotates the object in sync with the camera for automated 360 photography of single-row and multi-row spins.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

The Turning Platform has a load capacity of 1500 kg and plate diameters of up to 280 cm, with zero-clearance transmission and high torque. It comes in a standard version and a High Torque (HT) / RotoPower version, which brings mains power into the rotating plate ([RotoPower](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/rotopower)) so appliances can be switched on while they rotate. Optional mannequin stands adapt it to fashion photography, it combines with the [Robotic Arm](https://www.photorobot.com/robots/robotic-arm), and the HT / RotoPower version can be transformed into the [Virtual Catwalk](https://www.photorobot.com/robots/catwalk), an infinite runway for filming models.
