# Virtual Catwalk

> PhotoRobot rotating platform with a treadmill belt that lets models walk an infinite runway for 360 fashion video.

Also known as: Catwalk, 360 catwalk. Category: Hardware.

The Virtual Catwalk is a PhotoRobot motorised turntable combined with a treadmill belt. A model walks on the belt while the platform rotates, so a fixed camera records a runway video with a flying camera effect in a small studio space.

## How PhotoRobot uses it

Treadmill speed (up to 10 km/h) and rotation are adjustable remotely, the station has a 2.8 m plate and a load capacity of 1500 kg, and it can be installed into the floor so it is level with the working area. It is built on the Turning Platform HT / RotoPower: the rotating electrical joint of [RotoPower](https://www.photorobot.com/glossary/rotopower) powers the belt motor through a frequency inverter and carries the two logic signals that set the belt speed. With the belt stopped or removed, it serves as a platform for photographing models or objects.
