# PhotoRobot production: we make our robots in Prague

> PhotoRobot makes its robots on its own floor in Prague: TRUMPF sheet metal, 9-axis Mazak machining, robotic laser welding, SLS printing and our own electronics.

We don't resell robots. We make them.

From flat sheet to a finished robot on our own floor in Prague, with one machine from the leader in each process. The electronics are ours too: we design the control boards and program the chips on them.

## And the machines we build them with

Sheet metal is punched and bent, parts are machined, welded by a laser on a robot arm and printed in production-grade nylon. One machine from the leader in each process, run by the people who design the robots.

- 2.5 days to assemble a FRAME V6, with one worker
- 4 hours to assemble a CUBE COMPACT, with one worker

1. Punching & forming: TRUMPF TruMatic 1000 (Germany). Punches, forms and taps threads straight into raw sheet.
2. Press brake: TRUMPF TruBend 5170 (Germany). 170 tonnes with laser angle measurement: the first part is already in tolerance.
3. Automatic tool setup: TRUMPF ToolMaster (Germany). Sets up the full bending tool set automatically in minutes.
4. 9-axis turn-mill: Mazak INTEGREX i-100H ST (Japan). Turning, milling, drilling and tapping in a single clamping.
5. Assembly & machine tending: FANUC CRX cobots (Japan). Assemble sub-assemblies and load the CNC machines around the clock.
6. Robotic laser welding: IPG Photonics LightWELD XR (USA). A fibre laser on a FANUC arm: clean welds, minimal distortion.
7. SLS printing in PA12: EOS FORMIGA P110 Velocis (Germany). Production parts that would otherwise need injection moulds.
8. SLS surface finishing: DyeMansion Powershot Performance (Germany). Turns a printed part into a part you can ship.
9. Electronics: Our own control boards and firmware (Czech Republic). We design the control boards and program the chips on them.

A FRAME V6 takes 2.5 days and one worker to assemble. A CUBE COMPACT takes four hours.
