PhotoRobot Business Continuity & DR Overview
This document serves as the PhotoRobot Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (DR) Overview. The policy ensures the continuity of PhotoRobot Cloud operations through resilient cloud architecture, automated backups, and clear recovery procedures. It supports compliance with PhotoRobot’s contractual obligations under the DPA and SLA. The platform is designed to withstand operational disruptions and restore services efficiently.
Backup Strategy
- Daily automated backups of core data and metadata
- Backups stored in Google Cloud Storage (EU region)
- Data integrity regularly validated
Disaster Recovery Approach
- Single-region deployment (europe-west4)
- Recovery relies on backup restoration procedures
- Documented workflow for recovering core services
- No customer action required during recovery
High Availability
- GCP-managed uptime and resilience
- Redundant infrastructure at the cloud level
- Automatic failover of compute workloads within the region
Incident Handling
- Security incidents handled through documented IR procedures
- Central logging provides traceability during recovery events
Scope Limitations
- Multi-region failover is not part of the current architecture
- All data stays within the EU
